Main Frame Spring Replacement

Whether you’re pulling, lifting, or lowering a load, the main frame spring is an essential part of your Lug-All Come Along Ratchet Winch Hoist. If your main frame spring becomes worn out, it’s an easy fix! Just follow these simple steps to replace it.

Step 1:

Hold the spring upside down, so the long hoop is facing the spring anchor (downwards).

Step 2:

Attach the long hoop to the spring anchor and pawl stop located on the inside of the main frame.

Step 3:

Drop the spring forward, down between the drum and the mainframe.

Step 4:

With the U-frame pawl disengaged, swing the U-frame down towards the spring.

Step 5:

Keeping the main frame pawl tight against the main frame, press down on the U-frame until the spring snaps onto the main frame pawl.

Step 6:

After you have successfully replaced the main frame spring, put the remaining pieces of your hoist back together and use as directed.
